What should I do if War Drone crashes, freezes or won’t load?

If War Drone closes unexpectedly, stops responding or gets stuck while loading, try the steps below. Open the game after each step to check whether the problem has been resolved.

Close and reopen the game

Fully close War Drone, then open it again.

• iPhone or iPad: Open the app switcher and swipe up on the War Drone preview.
• Android: Open your device’s Settings, select Apps > War Drone, then tap Force stop. Menu names may vary by device.

Restart your device

Turn your device off and back on, then try launching War Drone again.

Check for updates

Check the App Store or Google Play Store for an update to War Drone.

Also check your device’s Settings for any available operating system updates.

Check your available storage

Low storage can affect how your device and apps work. Free up space by removing files or apps you no longer need, then try again.

Do not delete War Drone’s app data or clear its storage while troubleshooting, as this could remove progress stored on your device.

Clear the cache on Android

If you use an Android device, clearing the game’s cache may help:

1. Open your device’s Settings.
2. Select Apps > War Drone.
3. Open Storage or Storage & cache.
4. Tap Clear cache.

Menu names may vary. Choose Clear cache, rather than Clear data or Clear storage.

Consider reinstalling the game

Before uninstalling War Drone, make sure your progress is saved through the game’s account-linking options and that you can access the linked account. Make a note of your Player ID if available.

If you cannot open the game or are unsure whether your progress is linked, contact Support before uninstalling.

Once you have confirmed that your progress is protected, reinstall War Drone from the App Store or Google Play Store.
